Terms of use
Last updated October 2026.
These terms govern your use of this website, operated by the Technology Insurance Practice of Insurance Office of America. By using the site, you accept them.
What this site is
This is a marketing and educational website. The content here describes common insurance and risk issues for technology companies in general terms. It isn't a quote, a binder, or a policy, and using the site doesn't create an agency or client relationship.
No reliance
Don't make coverage decisions based on this site alone. Every policy is different, and the only documents that control coverage are the policies themselves. If you want an answer about your own program, request a review and we'll look at your actual paper.
Forms and scheduling
When you submit a form, you agree the information you provide is accurate and that we may use it to respond to you, as described in our privacy policy. Scheduling is handled through Calendly, and your use of it is subject to Calendly's own terms.
Don't use the forms to send anything unlawful, misleading, or abusive, and don't attempt to disrupt or probe the site.
Intellectual property
The text, graphics, and design of this site belong to Insurance Office of America or its licensors. You may read and share links to it, but you may not copy or republish its content without permission.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Insurance Office of America isn't liable for damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or its content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law rules. Questions about these terms can go to jeffrey.giacobello@ioausa.com.
